Ontario's Inaugural Chinese Heritage Month Celebration at Bridlewood Mall

Hosted by Canada One Family Network, Ontario’s inaugural Chinese Heritage Month celebration unfolded in grand splendor at Bridlewood Mall in Scarborough-Agincourt. Over two spectacular days—January 25 and February 1—the venue came alive with a dazzling showcase of Chinese traditions. Attendees were treated to the soulful melodies of classical folk music, nostalgic golden oldies, and mesmerizing ethnic dances. The thunderous rhythm of lion drums resonated through the air, ushering in prosperity and joy.

Adding to the festivities, skilled calligraphers painted blessings in sweeping strokes, while young artists displayed heartfelt creations in delicate ink and water. Families of all backgrounds immersed themselves in hands-on craft stations, celebrating the rich tapestry of Lunar New Year traditions.

A special highlight took place on February 1 at 2 PM when Toronto Mayor Olivia Chow, MP Jean Yip, MP Shaun Chen, provincial candidate Aris Babikian, Councillor Nick Mantas, and Bridlewood Mall owner Josephine Tan joined the community to welcome the new year. They witnessed the exhilarating "Cai Qing" lion dance ritual, a time-honored tradition symbolizing luck and fortune.

安省首届中华传统月庆典在世嘉堡爱静阁盛大举行

由一同家园文化中心主办，安省首届中华传统月盛大庆祝活动在世嘉堡爱静阁Bridlewood Mall 如期举行。1月25日和2月1日，庆祝活动现场轮番上演经典民乐、金曲串烧、民族歌舞，象征祥瑞的舞狮表演更是热闹非凡。

书法家现场挥毫送春联，青少年书画作品展现传统文化之美，互动手工体验更是吸引了众多家庭参与，共同沉浸在浓浓的年味之中。

2月1日下午2点，多伦多市长邹至惠、国会议员叶嘉丽、国会议员陈圣源、省议员候选人白必勤、市议员万利高及爱静阁购物中心业主Josephine Tan 女士，与社区居民共庆农历新年，并共同见证了精彩的舞狮采青仪式，寓意新年好运连连。
