Dragon New Year’s first Elegant Gathering - Literati Calligraphy - Fei Chun and Tea Ceremony Workshop presented by COFN on February 17, 2024 in the Unionville Library, 15 Library Ln, Unionville, ON L3R 5C4.
Mr. Su Fang, the chairman of Atlantic Calligraphy Association, introduced the Literati Calligraphy history, philosophy, masterpieces in ancient dynasties to the 50 participants. More than half of them were youths and kids, who tried writing the blessing “FU” character and Spring Couplets on the red rice paper with traditional brush and ink.
Mr. Franco Li from Chin Tea Inc. introduced tea culture and history, and demonstrated the New Year Tea Ceremony. All the participants enjoyed the special workshop for lunar new year celebrations.
